One of the leaders of Hamas’ military wing, responsible for a series of bomb attacks. He was involved in planning, sending and supplying explosives to suicide bombers in the attacks on the Jerusalem pedestrian street (4/9/97 – 5 murdered) and in the Mahaney Yehuda market (30/7/97 – 16 murdered). Over 200 people were injured in these attacks.
