A Hamas leader in prison. He drove a suicide bomber who carried out the September 2002 attack on bus Line 4 on Allenby Street in Tel Aviv, in which 6 were murdered and 84 injured. He was a partner in directing a suicide bomber who planned to carry out a suicide attack on a restaurant in October 2002 but was caught. Upon his release, he was welcomed into a Hamas march in Kafr Aqab in Jerusalem, which included shooting and waving Hamas flags in the streets of Jerusalem. Several of the march participants were arrested, but as of this writing, he himself has not been re-arrested for his expressed support for Hamas.
