A resident of the Old City of Jerusalem. In December 2013 he was charged with throwing stones at police officers on the Temple Mount and was sentenced to only 9 months in prison because Judge Anat Singer took into account that he had declared that he had “learned his lesson and would not repeat the act”. About 3 months after his release from prison, on 12/26/14, he stabbed two Border Police officers at the Lions Gate with a 30 cm butcher knife and tried to murder them, but they were injured and managed to overpower him. A short time after his release, on 4/22/25, he was arrested again by the police on suspicion of violating a legal order (case number 48577-04-25), and was released on condition of a financial deposit. According to the Ministry of Justice, Aghlouni is associated with the ISIS organization.
