Currently a senior Hamas official. Carried out a shooting attack near Ma’ale Levona in August 2009 in which Noam Ilani, Yitzhak Levi and Eitan Frankel were lightly injured. Served as head of the Supreme Leadership Committee of Hamas prisoners in Israeli prisons. Re-arrested on 05/22/2025.
