He led several terrorist squads, provided weapons, and recruited operatives who carried out several shooting attacks during the Second Intifada. In the attacks he launched or provided weapons to, about 10 Jews were injured. After his release, he received an appreciation certificate for his work at a ceremony held on 3/5/25, from senior Fatah and Palestinian Authority officials, including Jibril Rajoub and Nablus Governor Ghassan Douglas.
