Arrested in 1992 following his involvement in the October 1992 bomb attack on the Dolev-Hashmonaim highway, in which Yehudit Ostran HYD was murdered when the vehicle she was traveling in hit a bomb and burned completely with her inside, and her family members, some of whom were injured and managed to escape, stand in front of the burning vehicle, unable to save her.
