In September 2013, in order to free up his imprisoned brother, he persuaded soldier Tomer Hazan HYD, with whom he worked in a restaurant in Bat Yam, to come with him to Sniriya village in Samaria, and with his brother’s help, they strangled him to death and threw his body into a nearby cistern.
