A central Fatah operative who sent suicide bombers to Jerusalem, including the terrorist who carried out the March 2002 attack on King George Street. The attack murdered 3 and injured more than 80. Shawish also carried out shooting and IED attacks. After his release, he received an appreciation certificate for his work at a ceremony held on 3/5/25, from senior Fatah and Palestinian Authority officials, including Jibril Rajoub and Nablus Governor Ghassan Douglas.
