After his release in the Shalit deal, he was involved in many cases of throwing stones and Molotov cocktail bottles at IDF forces in the Nablus area. In one of the incidents in Ras al-Ain, a soldier was lightly injured by a Molotov cocktail bottle. He was returned to serve his sentence and released in the deal.
